Titan in fast food chain business, McDonald has recently triggered a campaign in Sweden through a digital but interactive billboard which is not only attractive massive crowd with every passing day but also making many to turn them up to company’s outlets. McDonald’s has installed a giant digital but interactive billboard which works just like a gaming console but get controlled by the smartphone users nearby. If any user finishes the game within 30 seconds, he is entitled to the free food coupons in the nearest McDonalds outlet.

The exciting part of the whole concept is that neither people nor company has to have any special arrangements to play that game. Even, users also don’t require to download an app to play the game. A Smartphone with, obvious, internet connectivity is all that is need to play the game. Instead, phone picks up your geolocation and you can join the game just by visiting a website.

This masterpiece of campaigning is not the best way to engage people with the brand but also drives many of them to outlet to redeem coupons. The enormous reach and adoption of Smartphones are slowly giving birth to many applications and methods which narrowing gap between technology and life.
