Must Read

Previously, we had a long discussion over ‘why users are still not willing to own new iPad devices’. Indeed, the device is occupied with number of issues such as over-heating, low battery wake up, Wi-Fi connectivity and third party docking. But, a recent survey from a research analysis firm–ChangeWave–reveals that 82% of new iPad owners are very satisfied with their device, while, 16% accepted that they are somewhat satisfied with their new device. The research analysis firm conducted a survey between March 22-28 over 200 new iPad owners and asked numbers of questions including key like and dislike, overall satisfaction and reaction about over-heating of the new device. The research firm says that numbers of owners even do not much care about the heat issue.

The owners of new iPad like its High-Resolution “Retina Display” screen most, reported 75% owners when survey were conducted. 22% of owners preferred its Battery Life, while 4G LTE Capability and Faster Processor were liked by 21% and 20% owners respectively.  The graph (below) illustrates the percentages of owners who disliked the device when survey were conducted by the firm:

26% of owners polled that they disliked the “Cost of New iPad”, while, 23% detested the “Cost of the Wireless Data Plan”. However, some owners were quite disappointment with amount of flash memory storage, weight, third part docking, battery life, and excessive heat. 8% owners said that they were beleaguered with amount of flash memory storage, while 7% were disappointed with integration with other devices and excessive heat coming from the device. However, 6% new iPad owners accepted that they were quite embarrassed with battery wake up.

In our previous report, we explained 84% users were satisfied with iPad 2 in December last year, while, 91% users were satisfied with their iPad 2 in April 2011. Anyway, the new iPad owners’ satisfaction is quite impressive and we might expect a good shipment of the device in future.
